Berry Delicious Nutritious Smoothie

Try making this berry delicious nutritious smoothie power packed with cherries, raspberries, apples and one other very nutritious ingredient: red beets--one of the most super food vegetables you can eat.
Serves: 24 ounces
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 red delicious apple, cored and chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 red beet, rinsed, peeled, and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  1. Mix together all ingredients in a high-powered blender until well blended and smooth. Add more or less water, if necessary, for desired consistency.
If you or your kids aren't used to eating beets, you may want to try using less beet at first and then increase to desired taste with each use.
