  • 4-6 salmon fillets
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  1. Season the salmon fillets to taste with lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and olive oil until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Place the salmon in a large resealable plastic bag adding the soy sauce mixture to the bag. Seal and turn to coat.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  5. The longer you marinate it, the better.
  6. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. On a foil-lined pan, bake the salmon for 12 minutes, then broil on high for the last 5 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
